ABOUT
Marta Madureira is a designer + illustrator + teacher in Portugal. She attended the College of Fine Arts, University of Porto. Currently getting her PhD at the University of Minho, where he conducts research on the illustration. With nearly twenty picture books for children, her record is identified by the widespread use of cutting and pasting, exploring intersections of textures, patterns and affinities chromatic. With writer Adelia Carvalho, founded the publishing Tcharan. In addition, she has collaborated with the illustrated texts of Vergílio Alberto Vieira, José Vaz and Manuel António Pina, among others. Ms. Madureira teaches Graphic Design + Illustration + Animation at The Polytechnic Institute of Cávado and Ave (Barcelos).
