Laurie Rosenwald is a New York native, graduated from Rhode Island School of Design, and has taught at Pratt Institute, Parsons School of Design, and School of Visual Arts. She has also had solo exhibitions in Paris and Sweden, and her workshops, “How to Make Mistakes on Purpose” have been hosted by numerous corporations and organizations and are incredibly fun. At present she is finishing work on “David’s Diary,” an application for iPad and iPhone. It is an animated collaboration with the writer David Sedaris. Her most recent book, All the Wrong People Have Self Esteem was published by Bloomsbury. Her children’s book, And To Name But Just a Few: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue was published by Blue Apple. New York Notebook was published by Chronicle.
How do you stay inspired?
i don't know what the word means. for real. i've been drawing and painting all my life. never stopped.
